Protests at Bogazici University in Istanbul are continuing. Despite the arrests, raids, and police violence, the students insist on their demands, most notably the resignation of the controversial university president, who was appointed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Erdogan arrested a group of Bogazici University students after their participation in the demonstrations to protest Erdogan's decision to appoint Melih Polo the President of Bogazici University.
Erdogan kidnapped the students by a gang loyal to Erdogan working for the AKP, and the students were tortured and threatened with death in the event of repeated opposition and participation in the demonstrations.
